BEFORE AND AFTER Showcasing Some of Our Work
For the Metric Guys who are always told "We can't put that on your bike" or "That's for a Harley" Here is a Shadow that we gave a makeover. BEFORE
Notice the homemade plastic (painted silver) rear struts; the trailer tail light and blinkers; and the license plate screwed into the plastic rear strut. AFTER
We machined inserts and spacers for the side mounted license plate to adapt to the metric axle. Special studs were machined to adapt the teardrop mirrors onto the metric threads. A Harley headlight replaced the old scratched up OEM one. Custom aluminum rigid rear struts were machined to replace the PVC ones that were on the bike.
ASK ABOUT OUR SCRATCH REPAIR SERVICES This trike had a bad scratch on the mirror and the owner was going to order a new one. We told him to let Tim show him what he could do with it.
Before After
This tank got kinda beat up. Before
After Tim did some work on it: (No Paint, just repair)
Here is a sport bike that we put an under tail kit on. BEFORE AFTER
We had a customer that bought a 2007 FXST from us. He was told that he couldn't put some aftermarket pipes on his bike that he wanted. We hooked him up with our machinist and exhaust guy. After some welding and drilling for the O2 sensor bungs, and a custom rear mounting bracket.... bam....he got the pipes he wanted. (And for under $300)
We also do electrical work Here is a Big Dog that we worked on for a guy. When we pulled the seat, we realized why it wasn't holding a charge....The last shop that worked on it decided to run the regulator wire (the thing that charges the battery) to the negative side of the battery instead of the hot side. Plus, the nest of wires tangled under the seat didn't look too good.....So we did some work to it. It was a quick cleanup, but still worthy of the Be4 & After page, I think.
